Accolades include the Gilmore Young Artist Award, Musical America‘s New Artist of the Month, the 2022 Vendome Grand Prize, first prize in the New York Franz Liszt International Competition, and Bronze Medalist at the 2024 Cleveland International Piano Competition.

MAXIM LANDO made his first international headlines performing together with Lang Lang, Chick Corea, and the Philadelphia Orchestra led by Yannick Nézet-Séguin at Carnegie Hall’s 2017 Opening Night Gala.

He has since performed with the Pittsburgh Symphony, Toronto Symphony, Israel Philharmonic, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, Mariinsky Theater Orchestra, Vancouver Symphony, Zurich Chamber Orchestra, Moscow Philharmonic, St. Petersburg Symphony, Memphis Symphony, Charleston Symphony, and the Czech National Symphony Orchestra, among others.

After winning first prize at the Young Concert Artists Susan Wadsworth International Auditions at the age of 16, his accolades grew to include the Gilmore Young Artist Award, Musical America‘s New Artist of the Month, the 2022 Vendome Grand Prize, first prize in the New York Franz Liszt International Competition, and Bronze Medalist at the 2024 Cleveland International Piano Competition.

Lando is a frequent collaborator of violinist Daniel Hope and has played with Lynn Harrell, Julian Rachlin, the Danish String Quartet, and the Jupiter Symphony Chamber Players. He is also a frequent guest artist at several international music festivals.

Additionally, his album “Into Madness,” recorded with violinist Tassilo Probst by the Bavarian Radio on Berlin Classics, was awarded a 2023 International Classical Music Award (ICMA) for best chamber music recording of the year and received a double nomination for Opus Klassik.

Lando is an alumnus of the Lang Lang International Music Foundation and a laureate of the Artemisia Foundation since 2019. He studies with his long-time mentor Hung-Kuan Chen at The Juilliard School.

The American pianist Maxim Lando has joined Arabella Arts for general management and will be represented by Stefana Atlas, Guiomar Blanco, and Laura Vivio. He joins other artists on the roster, including Lera Auerbach, Paul Huang, and VC Artist Fransisco Fullana.
