Pianist Sasha Kasman Laude’s playing is praised as “powerful and vivid” (Palm Beach Arts Paper) and having “such an abundance of intelligence that it can only be described as relentless” (Ludwig van Toronto). She has given recitals at NYC’s Steinway Hall, Tokyo’s Yamaha Ginza Hall, and Paris’ Salle Cortot, and at IKIF, SEPF, Busan International Music Academy, Kyiv International Summer Academy, and PianoCity Milano festivals. Her performances and interviews are broadcast on NPR.

Kasman Laude has triumphed in many international competitions and was recently a finalist in the 2022 Honens International Piano Competition. She has performed with a dozen orchestras, including the Juilliard Orchestra and Calgary Symphony, and has appeared seven times with the National Symphony of Ukraine. Kasman Laude is an active collaborator and has played with the Viano and Aeolus Quartets and premiered compositions of Stewart Goodyear, Marc Migó, and Nathan Daughtrey. She and her father, pianist Yakov Kasman, have toured together for fourteen years.

Sasha Kasman Laude comes from a musical family. She studied with her father at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and received MM and DMA degrees from Juilliard and the University of Michigan under Robert McDonald and Logan Skelton respectively. She has guest taught at MIT, Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, Lee University, Utah, and Bowling Green State Unversities. She has given over 100 outreach performances in large part as a PianoArts Fellow. This year, Kasman Laude performs for the Birmingham Chamber Music Society, InConcert Series, Dayton and Ann Arbor symphony orchestras, and pianoSonoma, Vivace, and Baia Mare (Romania).
