TETIANA SHAFRAN has performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls of Europe, South and North America, Africa, Australia, and Asia, including the Shenzhen Grand Theatre (Shenzhen, China), Lindeman Hall (Oslo, Norway), Llevellyn Hall (Canberra, Australia), Popejoy Hall (New Mexico, USA), Palau de la Musica (Valencia, Spain), Theatre Mohammed V (Rabat, Morocco), Sala Cecilia Meireles (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), Felicia Blumental Music Center (Tel Aviv, Israel), Congress Hall (Gabala, Azerbaijan) and many others. In addition to solo concerts, Tetiana has performed with many orchestras conducted by the following Maestros; D. Yablonsky, H. Earle, F. Krager, G. Glinka, R. Minczuk, M. Dyadyura, M. Anamammedov, and many others. She has recorded for radio and TV production networks in Italy, Israel, Spain, and the Ukraine.
Born in Kiev, Ukraine, Tetiana started playing piano at the age of 3. She graduated from the Lysenko Special Music School and the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine, studying with A. Vasin (2012), and from 2015 to 2017 at the O. Yablonskaya Piano Academy with Professor Oxana Yablonskaya (Spain-Israel).
In addition to winning 1stPrize and Gold Medal at the 2019 Olga Kern International Piano Competition in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Tetiana was the prize-winner of 25 other International piano competitions, with first prizes from Concours International de Piano France-Amériques (Paris, France, 2019), Antonio Napolitano International Piano Competition (Salerno, Italy, 2017), Carl Filtsch International Piano Competition (Sibiu, Romania, 2016), K. Tkaczewski Piano ompetition (Busko-Zdrój, Poland, 2016), Emil Gilels International Piano Competition (Odessa, Ukraine, 2015), Gabala International Piano Competition (Gabala, Azerbaijan, 2015), Chopin International Competition for Youth (Shafarnia, Poland, 2001); and second prizes from the S. Weishaupt Annual ISAM Competition (Ochsenhausen, Germany, 2019), Princess Lalla Meryem Piano Competition (Rabat, Morocco, 2016), Mauro Monopoli International Piano Competition (Barletta, Italy, 2015), Concorso Internazionale “Città di San Donà di Piave” (Italy, 2019), S. Bendytsky International Piano Competition (Saratov, Russia, 2011); and third prizes at the VII Parnassos International Piano Competition (Monterey, Mexico, 2018), and 18th Jose Iturbi International Piano Competition (Valencia, Spain).
